Circular Blade Machines

(excluding X33 and IVC16)

$445 per visit, per machine* at 1X per year service
$435 per visit, per machine* at 2X per year service

IVC16 and X33 Machines

$495 per visit, per machine* at 1X per year service

Belts

  • Check lacing on belts – repair, if possible.

Cutter

  • Check all sprockets on the rollers and cutter drive assembly.
  • Ensure cutter clutch and chain are properly adjusted – where applicable.
  • Check condition and position of key stock.

Chains, Bearings & Cables

  • Check all chains for alignment and tension for proper operation.
  • Check all bearings on rollers and cutter drive assembly.
  • Check condition and tension on all cables for proper operation.

Electrical

  • Check electrical switches for proper operation.
  • Check wiring inside control and at motors.
  • Check foot switch and adjust if needed.

Counter

  • Verify measuring wheel is secure and does not have any cracks or excessive wobble.
  • Check the “knurls” on the measuring wheel.
  • Ensure the wheel is not excessively worn and does not have smooth spots.
  • Ensure measuring wheel is at proper height above opening in the table.
  • Check the condition of the measuring wheel shaft and its connection to the counting device. Make sure the shaft is secure and is not bent.
  • Check counter operation. Use a test strip of carpet and ensure counter is counting accurately.

Miscellaneous

  • Check caster wheels and lubricate, if needed.
  • Check gearbox oil level. Use 90-weight gear oil, if needed.
  • Clean fiber and debris from machine – primarily from the motors, sprockets, chains, and cutting track.

Training

  • Re-train personnel and address any operational issues.

• Only Factory Trained Technicians will provide preventive maintenance

• PM Visits will occur within 6 months, after the PM Program agreement is signed and received in our office.

• A written quote detailing an installed price will be provided for any parts needing to be replaced. The price quote is valid ONLY during the time of the technician’s visit.

• Notice will be provided a minimum of one week prior to the PM Visit. Should circumstances cause the scheduled date to change, the technician will maintain contact regarding any changes.

• Payment for parts and PM Service is due upon completion of service. Payment can be made via check or credit card.

 *All machines with the rectangular, slotted blade, such as our J-Series Machines and some of our older machines like the Archer and Crossbow, are priced at a flat service fee of $425 per visit (plus parts), and there is not a PM Agreement offered for these machines.
