Our traveling service technicians cover the USA to keep Accu-Cut Carpet Cutting Machines running at their best. Each tech brings years of hands-on experience and a commitment to customer care. They’re not only skilled at troubleshooting and repairs in the field, but also dedicated to making sure your machine operates like new.
Behind the scenes, our local service and parts team in Tavares, Florida works closely with them—ensuring machines are refurbished, tested, and ready before they leave the shop. Together, this team effort means you get reliable service, whether your machine is in the warehouse or out on the road.

Chet
South Central US, PA KY WV
Chet has been a dedicated member of the Accu‑Cut team for six years. Known by customers for his upbeat, helpful attitude and strong-hearted spirit, Chet brings a “never give up” mindset to every job. He takes great pride in his work and values the connections he builds while serving customers across the country.
Off the clock, Chet enjoys traveling, camping, welding, fabricating, and creating artwork—he loves bringing ideas to life in all forms. Above all, his greatest joys are his wife Renee, their family, and their beloved pets, including their traveling crew of much-loved pups and cats.

Chris
Southeast
Chris began servicing carpet cutting machines in 2010 and has been a valued member of the Accu‑Cut team for over a decade. With more than 10 years of hands-on experience, Chris has provided expert support to customers across the United States—earning a reputation for his friendly demeanor, professionalism, and deep product knowledge. Customers consistently praise his work ethic and the positive attitude he brings to every service visit.
What sets Chris apart is his dedication to learning the craft. Early in his career, he drove across the country, teaching himself the ins and outs of these machines firsthand. His commitment has paid off—he’s now proudly serviced Accu‑Cut machines in all 50 states. One highlight: a service call to the only Sherwin-Williams location in Alaska, pictured proudly with one of our machines.
Outside of work, Chris is an adrenaline junkie at heart. He’s been racing cars since 1991 as part of his family’s successful race team, LRT, and has earned over 100 wins throughout his racing career. When he’s not tuning machines or tearing up the track, you might find him skydiving with his daughter—a favorite shared adventure—or exploring the outdoors. Chris has visited most of the country’s national parks, NASCAR tracks, NFL stadiums, and MLB ballparks during his travels.
Whether it’s fine-tuning a cutting machine or chatting with customers in the field, Chris brings energy, expertise, and enthusiasm to everything he does. He’s not just a technician—he’s a passionate adventurer, a dedicated family man, and someone who truly enjoys meeting new people and helping carpet stores around the country run at their best.

Derek
Northeast, Great Lakes Region
Derek has been a trusted and valued member of the Accu‑Cut team for over 10 years,
Bringing a decade of dedication, experience, and professionalism to every customer he serves. Known for his thoroughness and efficiency, Derek consistently delivers 5-star service and has earned the respect and appreciation of clients across the country.
Beyond his technical expertise, Derek is known for his fun-loving personality and easygoing nature—always bringing a positive energy wherever he goes. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, or simply unwinding with his family, Derek finds joy in the things that matter most.

Jack
Upper Midwest, Pacific Northwest
As the newest member of our technician team, Jack is already making a strong impression—and quickly becoming a customer favorite. Known for his professionalism, friendly personality, and great sense of humor, Jack brings a refreshing energy to every service call. His approachable nature and ability to connect with customers make him not just a technician, but a trusted partner on the job.
While new to Accu‑Cut, Jack comes with a solid background in service and support, and he’s hit the ground running—earning praise for both his technical know-how and his personable approach. Whether he’s answering a question, troubleshooting an issue, or offering helpful advice, Jack brings care and confidence to everything he does.
Outside of work, Jack is all about family and exploring new places. He enjoys traveling whenever he can and values the quality time spent with loved ones. That sense of connection and adventure carries through to his work—making him relatable, reliable, and a valuable asset to our team.

Jeff
Northern CA
Jeff joined the Accu‑Cut team in 2023 and has quickly earned a reputation as a knowledgeable, dedicated, and engaging technician. Customers often describe him as someone who not only knows the ins and outs of their machines, but also takes the time to share helpful tips, tricks, and advice to keep things running smoothly. His passion for the work he does—and for helping others—is evident in every service call.
Outside of work, Jeff brings that same enthusiasm and energy to the rest of his life. A lifelong snowboarder, he’s most at home carving through fresh powder in the mountains—just don’t expect to reach him when there’s a new snowfall on the forecast! When the slopes are quiet, Jeff enjoys relaxing with music and spending time with his family. He’s especially proud to be a mentor to his nieces and nephews, who absolutely adore him and look up to him as a steady, fun, and supportive presence in their lives.
Whether he’s solving a machine issue or hitting the slopes, Jeff brings passion, reliability, and heart to everything he does.

Rich
Southwest
Rich has been a dedicated member of the Accu‑Cut team for the past three years. Known by customers for being informative, helpful, and consistently providing top-notch service, Rich brings both knowledge and heart to every visit.
A truly one-of-a-kind individual, Rich is deeply committed to his work and even more devoted to what matters most—his family. He also has a soft spot for animals in need and is always willing to go the extra mile to help others. Whether he’s on the road or on the job, Rich gives it his all.
