When my nephew wanted to start doing work in the summer I told him not to buy a new carpet cutting machine or vinyl cutting machine. New carpet cutting machines and vinyl cutting machines are very expensive and not worth the money if you’re only using them once in a while. I told him to look for used cutting machines because the machines last a long time so they’re reliable and a lot less expensive. When I started my own business I only had used cutting machines. I wasn't able to buy a new carpet cutting machine or vinyl cutting machine for years.
